Described as a cream-gel formula with buildable, 24-hour waterproof wear, I will say that these claims are mostly true about Benefit’s ka-BROW Cream-Gel Brow Color as I don’t keep my eyebrow makeup or any makeup on for 24 hours. So, I wouldn’t know. However, it does last for my entire workday (nine hours). My eyebrows tend to get extremely oily, so ka-BROW is #goals for combating this situation.
In just three steps, I transform my sparse eyebrows to literal eye candy. My brows are fuller and the application is a dream. I found the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz formula to be very dry and difficult to apply. The pencil didn’t glide on smoothly and it was hard to achieve feathery strokes, quickly. I even purchased ABH Dipbrow Pomade several weeks ago and hated it. Perhaps I selected the wrong color; it was way too dark and because it’s highly pigmented it made the color more intense. Even when I used soft, light strokes to fill my brows, it was still too dark. Bold, dramatic eyebrows are not my thing, so I returned it.
It helps that this product comes with a built-in angled brush, so it’s perfect for traveling and on-the-go makeup. ka-BROW is highly pigmented, so I would suggest using a very small amount.
After I brush what is left of my natural eyebrow hairs, I fill/sculpt, clean and blend. For a more detailed description of these steps and the tools I use, click here to read about how I did my eyebrows with ABH Brow Wiz. The same steps apply.
